Real Voice Surveys is a platform developed by INPOWER, a black-owned, woman-owned social impact marketing & outreach agency based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At INPOWER, we care about empowering our community to be informed about available resources and changes that affect them. We also believe you should never make a decision that impacts community without including the community in the decision-making process. Our surveys are designed to help partners (big and small) improve the way they support the community through their funding, resources and services.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Our surveys are open to individuals from various backgrounds and locations unless stated otherwise.

Yes! We never share your personal contact information with any partners unless we have received your permission!

All information collected during the survey process will be treated with strict confidentiality. Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

Our administration team is the only team who has access to your personal information. Your personal information is only distributed to partner organizations if we receive your permission prior to sharing.

As our work focuses on creating solutions that empowers the community, improves the overall health of community members and creates opportunities for people to live happier & healthier lives, the surveys will typically focus on understanding your experiences with or access to certain resources. You may also be asked to share your ideas on creating new or improving current resources.

The surveys are typically digital surveys, but you may be asked to participate in an in-person or virtual interview setting. Our digital surveys may ask you to respond via text, audio, video, or multiple choice.

Each survey varies in length and is depending on the purpose & goal of the survey.

However, on average, each survey takes less than 10 minutes.

All responses to surveys are anonymously submitted so your responses are never tied to your contact information. Most of the data collected is presented as whole numbers or percentages so that your contact information is presented.

There may be opportunities to publish audio responses from surveys, but if your audio response is published, it is presented as an anonymous individual - we will never public your name, email or phone number in association with your survey response.

To be eligible for compensation, participants must complete the survey fully and honestly. As an example, if a question asks you to share your experience with reading as a child, simply responding “yes” to a question does not qualify as a full response.

Any attempt to manipulate or provide false information may result in disqualification and forfeiture of compensation.

Participants will be compensated for their time and insights in accordance with the terms specified for each survey. Note: some surveys may have limitations based (i.e. the first 100 participants will be receive a $50 gift card)/ This information will always be communicated to you before you begin a survey.

The compensation amount will also be clearly communicated before you choose to participate in a survey.

Your participation in each survey is completely optional. However, as the surveys are connected to community-based projects, we really hope to hear from you.

By signing up to be notified of a survey, you can expect to receive an email and text from Real Voice Surveys when a new survey is available.

Yes! Too often are community members asked to share their experience or opinion with no idea of what the outcomes were.

We will not only notify you of the results of the survey but directly share any resources that have been created or identified as a result of the survey.

Our goal is to share a new survey at least once every three months. With that said, you may be notified of three surveys to take in one month. There is no true limitation for the frequency, so be sure to check your email and look for texts from Real Voice Surveys!
